What we are looking for:

Promote a sales culture by empowering, motivating and inspiring others to achieve individual and team goals. Managers service, customer acquisition and engagement, profitability and sales plan. Provide leadership by analyzing week-to-date, month-to-date, year-to-date sales and develops action plans to drive top line sales. Manage all expenses and P & L to ensure store’s contribution is on target. Ensure the individual and collective skills of the team are utilized effectively, building a strong culture of positivity and optimism. Cultivate an uplifting work environment and family centric culture. Prepare for future growth by identifying on-going staffing needs, actively recruiting and hiring top talent. Act as a leader and a Brand Ambassador at all times by living out the Nickel and Suede core values and setting an example for all associates.

At Nickel and Suede you will:

  • Function as an Owner of your retail store, by engaging with the local community both in-store and outside of your 4 walls, driving traffic and forging relationships
  • Create a community outreach program and schedule weekly/monthly events to promote brand awareness and secure sales
  • Inspire the team to be fashion ambassadors through personal style choices that represent an elevated version of our Nickel and Suede style
  • Ensure the sales floor is adequately staffed from a sales and tactical perspective, providing excellent customer service
  • Maintain a strong presence on the sales floor to build relationships with customers, support and develop the team, and increase revenue
  • Analyze business trends and create, implement and communicate weekly plans to all associates
  • Ensure clientele programs are developed and consistently managed
  • Assess and manage personnel needs on an on-going basis and prepare for future growth by proactively recruiting top talent
  • Implement and manage ongoing programs to ensure staff is trained in all initiatives, company history, product knowledge and operational systems
  • Manage and assess performance through consistent feedback, coaching and creating developmental plans and performance appraisals
  • Cultivate strong cross functional partnerships with peers, teams and partners across the company
  • Participate and engage in weekly call with Retail Operations
  • Create and ensure a positive environment where all associates are treated fairly, with dignity and respect
  • Ensure merchandising standards are maintained and that the store is consistently clean, replenish
